This is a piece of music from Howard Hanson's Symphony No2 "Romantic" which was used in the movie Alien. Jerry Goldsmith composed the score for Alien but for some reason they used this music in place of what he had composed. I'm glad they did because it's a great piece and I reckon it suited the mood of the end on the movie.
