This volcano has been erupting since 1983, and this lava flow has been active since 2004. We hiked in during the day and stayed after sunset- words cannot describe watching lava flow into the ocean at night. A must see sight!

This was my first test with the Sony High Definition HVR-Z1U that I got to test out 5 months before the camera was available 2004. I used my ex-girl friend to help me as she just walked around in the shots because I couldn't find anyone as they didn't believe I had the camera until after I sent it back to Sony after having it for three weeks.
